Pretty Boy Dance Choreographer in the News

That's right. Our very own Pretty Boy BoyToy dance choreographer Ken Gasch was highlighted a few weeks ago on the local publication Windy City Times.

Ken was highlighted in an interview for his work on "The Atlas Agenda," a dance program by Second Floor Dance and Corpo Dance Company. Along with some info regarding the program, Ken also shared some insight into his past as a dancer. Here are some exerts.

WCT: How did you get involved in the profession?

Ken Gasch: I got started later in life...When I was in college I actually started cheerleading and hated it. Somebody suggested I take a dance class...I saw a performance by a company out of New York and passionately fell in love with it...when I returned to Chicago...I started my own company, Corpo.

Congrats to Ken Gasch. Keep up the good work!

Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc. may be a small company, but the talent behind the doors is anything but small. Our BoyToy dance Choreographer Ken Gasch is just one example.

Until next time, aficionados.

Pretty Boy Magazine Update

Hello!

Well, Summer's over. The cool winds of autumn are finally blowing in, and we're saying bye-bye to muggy summer weather. These last few months have gone by fast, haven't they? Pour a 40 for summer if you have any.

More importantly, there's big news regarding the magazine. We had set September as the month for the premiere issue of Pretty Boy Magazine. However, we have to delay the publication until November. There are a few reasons for this, but it really just means we have that much more time to make it quality.

So don't worry, Pretty Boy aficionados, you'll get your Pretty Boy Magazine, just in time for the holidays!

Political Uh-Oh

It's been a busy week for the Republicans at the big 'ol convention party, but we here at Pretty Boy Enterprises are keeping our eyes toward Minnesota for different reasons.

Tuesday, September 2nd, our senior photographer Dan Thompson was outside the convention with protesters documenting the event. However, things escalated and over 30 people were arrested, Dan included.

Here's a CNN article regarding the arrests: http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/01/rnc.security/index.html

We here at Pretty Boy send our best wishes to Dan and hope for a quick return back home.

SWEET SWEET AUGUST

You know, they say August is the laziest month of the year. They were on to something, I'd say. It does get pretty hot and humid for places that aren't so used to that kind of thing...like here in Chicago. Either you are privileged to have AC and lounge as you see fit, or you suffer in a puddle of your own sweat. Of course, that sunshine also means trying your best to sun soak a few more times before the sunshine of summer is replaced by the windy breeze of fall.

If, by any chance, you are like the rest of the world, you're probably tuned into the Olympics in Beijing. The world over is going ga-ga for all the pretty boys and girls of the Olympics. Micheal Phelps is essentially the biggest star on the planet right now. Not too bad for a guy who swims for a living right? Take a look at this funny video regarding his status in Asia.

Personally, I think all the male Chinese gymnasts are hot Pretty Boys. Exhibit A: Chinese gold medalist Yang Wei.

To be fair, all gymnasts could qualify as a Pretty Boy...they're usually so well toned and fair faced. Hmm...here's the rest of the team. What do you think?

That's it for now. There's so many Pretty Boys at the Olympics, maybe I should just make a big blog about it after they're done. Can you deal with all those RIPPED Pretty Boys? Well you're going to have to.

See you all next time.

July's End

Hello Pretty Boy fans and friends! Yowza, it's the end of July already! We just have one little month left to enjoy the fruits of summer...sad indeed. But here at Pretty Boy, we're reeving gears while the sun's shining strong.

Yes, Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc. is doing it's job: getting Pretty Boys to you. This week in fact, we're setting up our Boy Toy shoots for Pretty Boy Magazine. That's right, tantalizing photos of Boy Toys doing what they do best - look pretty.

Who are the Boy Toys and what do they look like, you say? All will be revealed in due time, but maybe if you ask nicely I'll post a teaser pic or two.

Chicago's not the only city for Pretty Boy. Our New York branch has been working round the clock in preparation for Pretty Boy Club Night on august 13th. I will devote a post to this even soon enough, so stay tuned for more right here.

The staff here in Chicago continues to grow by the week, and Pretty Boy Magazine deadlines are upon us. The gears are moving, our parts are greased. The Pretty Boy machine is ready for action!

Time for more Pretty Boy news

Hello all!

Wow, it's already July 16th? You'll have to excuse me, Pretty Boy admirers, but I became the worst thing to be during summer: sick. Right after the 4th I developed a lovely head cold with a refreshing inflamed ear canal. I'm OK with getting sick during Fall or Winter, it's cold and better to stay inside anyway. In the Summer it's a cruel joke. Do you have a fever or is it just extremely humid? Probably both.

Ill-health aside, there are many pressing matters here at Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc. Chicago that we're working hard to accomplish. For example, our Pretty Boy Magazine staff has doubled in just a few weeks. It's exciting to think that Pretty Boy Magazine will be out in just over a month, and these new folks will be the driving force in delivering high quality Pretty Boy happiness.

Meanwhile, our founder and CEO Roc is busy seeing Pretty Boy after Pretty Boy to make sure they have what it takes to join the Boy Toy ranks. Stressful job, am I right? There's lots of juicy nibbles of information regarding upcoming Pretty Boy events, but Roc will do unpleasant, possibly violent things to me if I say too much...I just want you guys to know there's some good things bubbling up behind the scenes. Oh yes.

You know, I just have to give Isaac Hall, our head web designer more kudos. The website looks great, and so is the new front page. In fact, this blog's face may change soon too.

That's it for now. Enjoy the Summer humidity somehow, Pretty Boy fans!

New Web Design!

Hello all.

If you made it here by way of the website, then you know we've finished updating PrettyBoyEnterprisesInc.com. I, personally, think it looks great. Every page has a Pretty Boy to look at and the design looks fresh and professional. Major kudos to Pretty Boy Magazine's Assistant Art Director Isaac Hall who worked on the redesign. Great job!

There's a lot more going on with the Pretty Boy website then meets the eye, but since I prefer surprises, I'm keeping my mouth shut on any developments. Well, I'll keep it shut until it's ready to be unveiled, anyway.

July is another exciting month for Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc. But really, every month Pretty Boy finds something new and hot to offer it's Pretty Boy admirers. Stop by often to see what's new in Pretty Boy.

Summer Blockbuster Pretty Boys

Hello all. I can't believe June is almost over. Maybe it's just me, but June is the kind of month that feels like it's over just after it starts. But because it's June, that means the summer blockbusters are out in force! This summer saw the release of some huge movies like Iron Man, Sex in the City and Indiana Jones 4 just to name of few. June's almost over so it's about time we talk movies a little. Here's a look at some summer movies and their leading Pretty Boy actors.

We start with the movie that kicked off this year's summer:

Iron Man

After last year's big Marvel let down (Spiderman 3), it seems the company hit the right buttons this time with Iron Man. It's good to see Robert Downy Jr. back on his feet with his movie. He's not looking too bad, is he?
Iron Man stars Robert Downy Jr. as arms millionare Tony Stark, who builds a big robot suit so he can undo the damage his arms dealing has done.

On the subject of rich vigilantes with too much time on their hands...

The Dark Knight (July 18th)

Ah, Batman. I don't need to explain what this movie is about. Batman + Joker = anarchy. This movie's going to be huge (actually, it already is). Not only does it look fantastic, but all the buzz surrounding Heath Ledger's death is only going to fuel this blockbuster fire. Ledger looks like he has done an amazing job taking on the role of one of the funniest sadistic killers of all time, the Joker.

Heath, you will be missed.
Another reason why The Dark Knight will do so well? Christian Bale.

The Dark Knight was shot right here in Chicago, so as a Chicago resident, it's your job to make sure these Chicago shot movies do well. I mean, we WANT more of those hot Hollywood actors doing work on our streets, right?

Another movie with some Chicago locations is the upcoming

Wanted stars James McAvoy, Angelina Jolie, and Morgan Freeman. James McAvoy plays a clueless average Joe until Angelina Jolie finds him and recruits him into a super secret super killer assassin's fraternity. I can almost guarantee things will be blowing up in 200 different angles. There's a crazy car scene that's been shot around scenic Chicago streets, so be on the look out for Wacker Drive imitations later this summer.

Here's the kind of quality you can expect from James McAvo
y:

Well my Pretty Boy friends, it's that time. You can bet I'll be back with a post on other summer blockbusters and their Pretty Boy actors. Until then, I'll leave you with a shirtless James McAvoy. Have fun.

Pretty Boy H20

Hello, hello Pretty Boy followers. I have to say, it's been quite a busy week here at Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc. There's lots of work to be done in order to get a magazine going and here at Pretty Boy we're in the thick of it. It's exciting to not only watch, but be fully engaged in the development of Pretty Boy Magazine. At any given moment at any Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc. branch around the United States, there's something new developing.

For instance, the Pretty Boy website is going under development. I know to some people it's not all that exciting, but I think it's about time our website got an update. The Pretty Boy Website should be sexy to accommodate all the Pretty Boy models, right? I know you can see the logic in this.

Speaking of updates, have you guys read about the water powered car? I ran across this bit of news today. Here's the video from Reuters.

Pretty cool stuff. Half electric, half water powered. The design...can be worked on. What I really want to see is a car powered by a Pretty Boy with a "come hither" glance. Now that's technology!

Now, I know there's not a Pretty Boy to be found in the video, but current issues regarding the environment and technology is something we at Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc. now is important. Without the Earth, we wouldn't have any Pretty Boys to admirer anyway!

With that, go enjoy Earth and her plentiful Pretty Boys.

More Summer Events

Earlier this week I posted about some music events happening in the city this time of year. Today I thought I'd share some other interesting, fun and FREE events that's in store for you this summer here in Chicago.

One particular event I always enjoy is Chicago Summer Dance, an eleven week festival held in Grant Park. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening, you can come by for a free group dance lesson by professional dancers. After the lesson, you can dance the evening away with excellent live music, with genres ranging from salsa to polka. Summer Dance started today, the 12th! You can find more information on the Chicago Summer Dance website.

You're going to make sure you get up and move around, because the Taste of Chicago is coming soon, and that means eating a whole lot of food. If you're a Chicago resident, you already know about this event. 65 city restaurants set up tents and you come out and eat. There's scheduled music and usually some random off shoots of diversion. All in all, it's a place to hang out and grab some grub while enjoying the summertime. You can't beat that. Here's the website for more info.

Lastly, one final event for today. The Chicago Outdoor Film Festival. I love movies. I love them even more when they're free and being played outdoors. That's just what the Chicago Outdoor Film Festival delivers. Starting July 15th, every Tuesday a cinematic classic will screen for Chicago residents to enjoy. I really enjoy going. Something about sitting outside with the open air and watching a movie is just great. A warning: screenings get packed. If you're going to go, make sure you go a little early. Check out their website for this year's set of films.

That's all for now, Pretty Boy admirers.

Summer in the City

It's been an extremely rainy weekend for Chicago and the Midwest. We were plagued with Tornado touchdowns and flooding for the past few days. Luckily we were able to keep damage to a minimum here at the abode, but one thing all this rain makes me think of is getting out and enjoying sunny weather again.

There's always something to do in the city this time of year, and since I was stuck indoors all weekend long I decided to torture myself by looking at all the great events the city will be hosting this summer. Pretty Boys aren't the only ones who need to get out of the house! Today we'll talk a bit on some Chicago summer music events.

Summer in Chicago means lots of music festivals. This past weekend in the city was Blues Fest, Chicago's blues music festival, but there's music of all kinds to enjoy. On June 13-14, you can catch Beethoven's "Missa Solemnis" played by the Grant Park Orchestra as part of the Grant Park Music Festival. The Grant Park Music Festival is free, and is performed in the Jay Pritzker Pavilion. It's really beautiful enjoying music in the open air, sitting on the picnic blanket while gazing at the sky. It's a great place for a date (wink, wink). You can find more info on free Millennium Park music events here.

But of course, if that's not the kind of sound you're looking for, Chicago's got you covered. We can't talk about Chicago music festivals without mention Lollapalooza 2008. Lollapalooza has some of the hottest bands on the scene right now, from British band Radiohead to hip-hop giant Kanye West, Lollapalooza is geared to be yet another big hit. Tickets are about $190 right now, but those desperate can find solace in Lollapalooza's volunteer program. Here's some more info about Lollapalooza.

If you can't stand all the blatant commercialism of Lollapalooza, then Pitchfork Music Festival is for you. Created by the folks over at the super popular indy band site www.pitchfork.com, this festival promises to be cheaper then Lollapalooza but not any less fun. Hot indy and hip-hop acts include Public Enemy, Animal Collective, Dinosaur Jr., Jarvis Cocker, Ghostface and more. That's happening July 18th -31.

If it wasn't for the fact that Pretty Boy Magazine's first issue is being released AFTER summer, you can bet we'd be all over these events. But once we're out, we'll provide you with a healthy list of music and other exciting events happening in and around Chicago. Until then, enjoy the summer music, Pretty Boys!

Pretty Boy Sneak Peak

Hello all!

Back in early May, Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc. held auditions and got some photos of possible up and coming Pretty Boys. The day was filled with Pretty Boys lining up, hoping to become the next hot Boy Toy to be featured in Pretty Boy Magazine.

Today I was handed a super secret disc holding photos of some of the models from the May 5th audition. I couldn't just keep this to myself. Here's a sneak peak of Pretty Boys you can expect to see in Pretty Boy Magazine online and print.

I don't want to get into too much trouble, so that's where I have to stop. These guys are looking hot, aren't they? This is only the tip of the iceberg, my Pretty Boy admirers. There's much more to come.

Rumble in the Bronx

Hello all you Pretty Boys and Pretty Boy lovers! There's a whole lot of excitement around here in the Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc. Much of it is still hush-hush, here's some tidbits...

Last week Roc went on a pilgrimage to the Bronx to meet with the Pretty Boy branch in New York. As you remember, Roc was away to go over Pretty Boy business and get down on some Pretty Boy event planning. Evidently the boys in New York know how to treat our generous CEO to a proper Pretty Boy welcome!

Besides dancing the night away with Boy Toys in tow, Roc was able to finalize some details regarding upcoming Pretty Boy Events. Thanks to the hard work of our New York branch, a night club has been chosen to host our Pretty Boy Club Night event! Though details are still under wraps, once everything is finalized you'll be sure you to see it here.

Times are fast and exciting here at Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc.. Our branches just seem to sprout and keep growing all over the country. People are already enticed by the Pretty Boy phenomena, and we love giving them their Pretty Boy fix.

Fitness Talk

Wow. On Monday I make a post about summer fashion and what happens to the weather? It gets COLDER. Does that make any sense? I think mother nature is just trying to mess with us. She's a jerk.

However, June is just a few days away. Mother Nature can't change that. The forecast tells me the weather's going to get warmer, and soon one day we'll wake up and it'll be beach time!

So, have you been working out? Keeping fit? If you're a Pretty Boy, I know you've been keeping fit. But if you're like me and over 60% of Americans, you don't get enough exercise. Yes, I know the excuses...it's too cold, too hot, there's no time, I had two big macs and I can't move...excuses, excuses. It's not easy getting your butt up and moving around. Not only that, gyms can be expensive and you might be too self consciousnesses to get any real work done.

Something that I've recently gotten my hands on is the new Nintendo Wii Fit. I'm sure you've heard of it by now. Wii Fit has allowed me (someone who can't keep a consistent exercise routine) a chance to chart my progress, stay on target and of course, get some exercise. Wii Fit won't make you a body builder overnight, but it does a great job of getting you active while you play.

Wii Fit comes with a balance board that doubles as a scale. The actual "game" consists of various types of exercises. There's 4 sections to Wii Fit: Yoga, Strength Training, Aerobics, and Balance Games. Generally, you stand on the Wii balance board for most of these exercises. However, for exercises like the Side Plank/Push-up and Plank, you place your forearms and hands on the board.

What I really enjoy about the Wii Fit is that it keeps track of all the time I spend doing the exercises, so I can keep going or stop after 40 minutes of working out. It also rewards you by unlocking more things to do the more you play. I find myself coming back day after to day to work out, and it's really fun!

Just a few weeks ago I tried keeping an exercise routine but I quickly found myself loathing my exercise time. With the Wii Fit, when I'm not playing, I'm thinking about exercise! It really goes to show that with things like fitness, the right attitude makes a big difference.

Now, at first glance, the exercises don't seem too tough...but once you do them, you surely feel the burn. The first few days of playing I was defiantly sore. Then again, maybe that just shows how out of shape I am :)

I don't want this post to sound like a review, since we'll have plenty of time to review things like the Wii Fit in Pretty Boy Magazine online and print health and fitness section. I just wanted to remind all you Pretty Boys out there that trunk and speedo weather is just around the corner. You want to make sure you look good and more importantly, feel good! So if you're not doing so already, get out and run around a bit. Do some push-ups, crunches, anything.

If you still need more fitness tips, don't worry, we'll soon be up and running! In the mean time, take a look here at lifetips.com for some exercise ideas. Good luck!

Memorial Day Fasion Reminder

Ah yes. It's that time of year again. The smell of charcoal in every yard, college grads passing out on the street, and people getting lined to up see expensive over the top summer blockbusters...it's the unofficial start of summer!

Tis the end of the Memorial Day weekend and June is just a week away. This means it's time all you Pretty Boys start moving that summer gear out of the closet. Now, I know. Pretty Boy Magazine online and print won't be coming out for a few more months. But that's why I'm here. I've gone around and did a little bit of research on Pretty Boy summer fashion.

This post over at Shoptalk deals with some basic Do's and Don't of Summer wear. I don't know, the post says no to speedos but if you look good in them, I say why not?

I found an interesting link at Adverse.com, with photos of summer fashion coming out of Milan, Italy. This is high-end stuff and very European, but you might end up entranced toward the models, not the apparel.

Speaking of fashions shows, the guys over at Blurberry have a great selection of men's summer fashion show videos. Videos include Gucci, D&G and Prada.

Those models are definitely Pretty Boy material. Pretty Boy Magazine online and print will soon be around to provide you with more in-depth fashion examination and tips. Your guide to all things fashion will be Pretty Boy style expert Oscar Garcia, Director of Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc.'s Original Genetic Art (OGA) clothing line.

I'm certain our Pretty Boys will show those Milan guys a thing or two...

Well, that's all for now. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!

Pretty Boy Hot Happenings

Hello, hello, Jesse here.

There's some exciting happenings going on this weekend for Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc. Our fearless leader, Roc, is headed toward culture capital New York City this weekend.

Roc will be meeting up with the Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc. division over in New York, so I hope you guys got everything in tip-top shape for Roc's visit. There's some exciting developments with this visit!

Roc's headed down to finalize a few hot Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc. events happening in New York in the nearby future. The guys in New York have been working hard organizing events and happenings for the Pretty Boy crowd.

Events like the Pretty Boy Club Night. That's right, a chance for you and your friends to get down in New York City, dancing the night away with Boy Toys supplying you with drinks and fun! Roc still needs to make some executive decisions on this event, but as soon as everything is finalized, you can bet you'll hear it here.

Other events on the agenda this weekend include the Pretty Boy Luxury Cruise. Not into the club scene? Well, hop aboard the Pretty Boy party cruise! This cruise will circle around Manhattan with the New York City night skyline as the backdrop. Drink, socialize, party and who knows? Maybe you'll run across someone special and take in the beautiful sights together...or maybe you'll just go crazy on the dance floor!

I know, all of this already sounds freaking amazing. But there's one more event that's on the New York City agenda: the Pretty Boy Block Party. Take one New York City Block, add Boy Toys, music, drinks and Pretty Boys and you got the ingredients for a really great time.

All these events will be examined and finalized by Roc and the New York City Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc. crew this weekend. So I say good luck to you guys on these exciting and fun events!

See you next time!

Cute Cosplayers

Well. I've returned from ACEN 2008. The convention seems to get bigger and bigger every year. When we arrived Friday night, there was already an ambulance, firetruck and three squad cars who arrived with us. ACEN has changed since it's early days as a simple anime convention. These days you'll find more then your average anime fan walking around. People who don't even like anime show up, simply to enjoy the three day party.

I promised pics last post and I will not disapoint. Although, I have to say...while I admit that I usually haven't specifically looked around for Pretty Boys in cosplay at ACEN before, I felt that there just wasn't enough. Lots of cute girls in skimpy outfits, but the ratio of cute girls to cute boys is something like 5:2. But that doesn't mean I didn't look! Although last year there were defiantly lots more Pretty Boys walking around...maybe they got scared off this year? I dunno.

Here, however, are some Pretty Boy cosplayers I found along ACEN. Some of these weren't taken by me, but they're all cute boys in cosplay, so why complain?

You know, looking at these pics makes me want to see a comic book/anime Pretty Boy cosplay photo shoot. I think some of our guys could blow these out of the water.

Well, that's it for now. Now it's time to recuperate. Until next time!

Pretty Nerdy Boys

Hello all!

You know, there's a stigma out there that any boy who likes nerdy things tends to be ugly, unclean, smelly and not a Pretty Boy. I come here today to tell you that is sorely not the case. Nerdy boys can still be Pretty Boys and vice versa. There's no room for stereotypes here at Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc.

Now...yes. There are some extremely "not pleasurable to the eye" kind of nerd folk out there, but they're not all like that. I've seen some really scandalous nerds in my day...which brings me to today's topic.

This upcoming weekend, the Midwest's biggest Anime convention is being held at the Hyatt Regancy O'Hare in Rosemont, IL. Anime Central, otherwise known as ACEN, is the largest gathering of anime nerds and nerdettes in the Midwest.

For those who may not know, anime is Japanese animation. ACEN is simply a celebration of all things anime. What does this have to do with Pretty Boy, you ask?

At ACEN, many fans engage in something called "Cosplay." These people dress up exactly like an anime or video game character of their choosing. There are a lot of girls and guys who spend a lot of time and effort in their costumes, all to the joy of con goers.

Because I will be at this event, for my next post on Sunday, I will be putting up all pictures of any hot Pretty Boy cosplayers I find. I will spend my time scouring the convention looking for any Pretty Boy willing to get their pictures taken (and they're always more then willing).

Saturday night ACEN hosts a rave called "Soap Bubble." More often then not, we'll find plenty of Pretty Boys dancing the night away in very scandalous clothing.

Stay tuned for pics!

Pretty Boy Enterprises presents: Pretty Boy Contest

Last week here in Chicago, Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc. held a casting call to all Pretty Boys in the area. I was there for a while to check out Pretty Boys first hand. There were quite a few there, believe you me. Pretty Boys from all walks of life, coming together under the pretense of the Pretty Boy image. So many Pretty Boys, but, as always, not enough time to admire them all.

While there, all those Pretty Boys in one room reminded us about Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc.'s upcoming event: The Pretty Boy of the Year contest. Can you imagine an event where Pretty Boys from around the country gathered to battle for the title of Pretty Boy of the Year? Sure, there's Ms. America, Mr. Universe, but what about Mr. Pretty Boy? The hottest, prettiest boys from all over the country will gather at New York City to find out will be this year's Mr. Pretty Boy.

Whoever is named Mr. Pretty Boy 2008 will recieve a $1000 prize, and there may possibly be a ticket for two island vacation for the winner as well. Not only that, but Mr. Pretty Boy will get a Mr. Pretty Boy statue, like an Oscar for being a Pretty Boy. Of course, winner gets bragging rights as the Prettiest Boy in America! The accolade's just won't stop, because the winner will also be the centerfold for the next issue of Pretty Boy Magazine.

This event is planned for October 8th, which happens to be Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc. CEO Roc's birthday. Coincidence?

If you fit the Pretty Boy image, there's no reason why you wouldn't want to test your mettle against Pretty Boys from around the country and the globe. This contest sounds amazing, makes me wish I was a Pretty Boy myself.

Check out www.prettyboyenterprisesinc.com if you want to get in contact with us about anything Pretty Boy related.

In regards to the Mr. Pretty Boy contest, check here for any updates!

A differnt kind of Pretty Boy

Hello everyone. I hope you're enjoying the first day of May! Let's hope it turns out to be a good month.

Today, I thought it would be fun to let you all in on a business practice from Japan that I think is BEGGING to be exploited here in the United States. That business practice: host clubs.

Here's how they work. You gather a bunch of fashionable, sexy boys. They're job is to be a host. A girl comes into the establishment and picks her favorite guy from a long roster of boys. That boy hangs out with that girl and lavishes her with attention, dancing, jokes and of course...booze.

You can find videos on YouTube of various host clubs advertising their place. Here's a quick vid.

Looks glamorous, doesn't it? Of course it does...because it costs a decent amount of money to spend quality time with your host. The fees vary from club to club, and most clubs offer super special packages...like 30 minutes of champagne drinking with the WHOLE group of hosts. Now that's service (for quite a few Yen)!

If you're interested or just want to look at more Japanese pretty boys, I suggest watching the film "The Great Happiness Space: Tale of an Osaka Love Thief." It's kind of sad, while getting an in-depth exploration of the day to day stresses and worries of these boys.

I've seen the movie posted online, but I don't want anybody getting on me for posting online movies. Just look it up and I'm sure you'll find it.

Here's the poster...he looks so deep in thought... "Why am I so damn pretty," he must be asking.

That's it for today. Until next time!

A Time for Drinks

Yuck. You know, a lot of people out there are really affected by the weather. I'm no different. It's really gloomy out there. It's still early spring right now, so the plants aren't around to spruce things up with color. It's times like these where I sit on my couch and dream about the sunny hot days of Summer.

So what better way to pretend we're sitting on the beach taking in the sun then with a delicious tropical drink? Today we're going to learn how to make Pretty Boy's own tropical delight, the Pretty Boy Island.

Pretty Boy Island recipe:

1/2 oz. Carnival XO
1 oz. Rum
1/2 oz. Gin
1/2 oz. Tequila
1/2 oz. Midori
Lime soda
garnish with Maraschino Cherry
Serve in Hurricane glass

Get a glass and add a healthy helping of ice. Add the Rum, Gin, Tequila, Midori and Carnival XO. Slash with your choice of lime soda. Now stir your drink at least 4 times. Top it all off with a maraschino cherry. You don't really need a hurricane glass, but it really adds to the aesthetic of a tropical drink, don't you think?

When using liqueurs like Carnival XO, you can make a rainbow effect in your drink. Just get an inverted teaspoon (rounded side up) and slowly poor the liqueurs over the spoon. Use the heavier liqueurs first. You'll end up with a neat multilayer rainbow.

There you go! Now I'm going to go back and pretend it's right in the middle of June with my Pretty Boy Island. Enjoy!

Pretty Boy Blog Part 2

The Pretty Boy Blog has officially uprooted and moved on to a new spot. You may have noticed the lack of posts. In our move, we had to say goodbye to posts of old.

That's ok, because at Pretty Boy, we're focused on the here and now. And to us, the here and now is pretty boys. We wake up everyday scouring the world over for pretty boys so that the world may fawn over them and celebrate their sexiness. We believe their time is now, and we're the people that are giving them their chance to take the world by storm. Can you imagine a world without pretty boys? It's a sad, dark world filled with stained shirts, uneven stubble and depressing night clubs...

Pretty Boy Enterprises Inc. is here to let the world experience the Pretty Boy phenomena.

Though we may have lost some content, everything else is the same. I, Jesse, will still be posting various juicy Pretty Boy tidbits for you, and we may even get a post or two by our fearless leader himself, Roc. So no one out there worry. You'll still get the scoop on Pretty Boy and Pretty Boy related news from around the globe and into your monitor.

Welcome to Pretty Boy blog's new home!
